From Tbilisi to Kazbegi, Gergeti Trinity Church and Truso Valley

• Depart from Tbilisi towards the Kazbegi region.
• Visit the Ananuri Fortified Castle Ensemble, a beautiful and well-preserved castle overlooking the Aragvi River.
• Stop at the Aragvi River for a scenic view of the Caucasus Mountains.
• Explore the Russian-Georgian Friendship Monument, known for its Soviet-era mosaics and stunning observation deck views.

• Continue the journey towards Stepantsminda.

Know before you go

• Due to the length of the tour and the exciting off-road driving, this tour may not be suitable for children under 12.
• As you will be exploring some rough terrain, it is a good idea to have a reasonable fitness level to enjoy the experience fully.
• Mountain weather can be unpredictable - sunny one minute and chilly the next. Dress in layers and wear sturdy footwear to be prepared for changing conditions.
• If winding roads affect your stomach, remember to bring any necessary medication. We want you to enjoy the journey, not endure it.
• Our 4WD vehicles are built for safety and adventure and seat a maximum of 8 passengers. They offer an authentic off-road experience but may not have the plush comfort of a standard coach.
• This is a group tour where you can meet and interact with other intrepid travellers.
• On rare occasions, our group tours may be conducted simultaneously in Russian and English. While we strive to ensure an equal experience for all, this may result in slightly longer explanations or a slightly slower pace.
