Tahiti's Major Attractions from Marae Arahurahu to Venus Point
- Pick up from any location within Papeete with all your luggage and embark on a journey to Marae Arahurahu, an ancient Polynesian temple made of black volcanic rock with Tiki sculptures, the ancient Polynesian gods.
- Continue to the Grottoes of Maara and encounter fish in a freshwater lake inside a large cave.
- Head to Taharuu, a black sand beach with big surf waves.
- Experience the beautiful Vaipahi Water Garden, home to local plants, chickens, goldfish, and famous local freshwater eels.
- Enjoy a splendid view of Tahiti Nui from above Tahiti Iti at the Taravao lookout.
- Witness Faarumai Waterfall and its freshwater pool.
- Stop by Venus Point, a historical and cultural site with a beautiful black sand beach.
An optional lunch at a delicious local restaurant is suggested.
