Itinerary

Day 1: Explore Arusha National Park and Tarangire National Park
- Enjoy a non-game viewing time for about 2 to 3 hours.
- After breakfast at your lodge in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park for a game drive.
- Explore the large elephant population found nowhere else in Africa and spot giraffe, buffalo, zebra, impala, wildebeest, warthog, baboons & lots of monkeys in the Tarangire National Park.
- Discover three rare species of Greater Kudu, Fringed-Eared Oryx, and Ash stalling can also be seen here. Lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, vultures & other birds of prey also inhabit the park.
- Later in the afternoon, during the sunset, drive to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner & overnight with a brief stop at Lake Manyara viewpoint for some nice pictures of Lake Manyara & its forest from the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley.
- Enjoy the sunset from Lake Manyara Point's viewpoint.
- Have dinner at Marera Valley Lodge and stay overnight at Marera Valley Lodge near Karatu town.
Day 2: Discover Ngorongoro Crater
- Enjoy a non-game viewing time for 1 hour.
- After breakfast, drive up to Ngorongoro Highlands and spend a few minutes registering yourself at the gate.
- Drive up to the Crater viewpoint to get the most breathtaking views of the Crater floor from above.
- Have lunch boxes on the Crater floor, enjoying the beautiful views.
- Spot herds of wildebeest, eland, zebra, hippos, African elephant, gazelles and the rare black rhino in their natural habitat.
- Discover a denser population of predators, which includes lions, hyenas, cheetahs, jackals and the ever-illusive leopard that needs a sharp eye to be spotted.
- Visit Lake Magadi, a large but shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern corner, which is among the main features of the crater. Large flocks of flamingos, many aquatic birds & hippos can usually be seen here. Late afternoon drive out & back to Marera Valley Lodge for dinner & overnight.
- Enjoy dinner at the Marera Valley Lodge and stay overnight at the Marera Valley Lodge near Karatu town.
Day 3: Enjoy Lake Manyara National Park
- Enjoy non-game viewing time for 45 minutes.
- Have your breakfast and then visit Manyara National Park.
- Discover many animal species, including the famous Lake Manyara tree-climbing lions, giraffes, elephants, zebra, buffalo, leopards, hyenas and many more.
- Drive back to Arusha and explore Mto wa Mbu and Masai markets before reaching Arusha in the late afternoon.
- Enjoy your lunch and drop off at your hotel.

Arusha- Tarangire National Park Distance: 139 km

The driving is along the beautiful Masai steppe & many villages. Tarangire is one of the best National parks in Northern Tanzania, which runs along the lines of the Tarangire River and it contain low-lying hills appears on the floor of the Great Rift Valley. The vegetation of the park is mainly acacia woodland and huge African Baobab trees with a swamp area on the South.

Tarangire River and the swamps attract a large number of wild animals as it is the only permanent water sources in the entire park. Tarangire National park is famous for its large elephant population found nowhere else in Africa, you may expect to spot giraffes, buffalo, zebra, impala, wildebeest, warthog, baboons & lots of monkeys. The three rare species of Greater Kudu, Fringed-Eared Oryx and the Ash stalling can also be seen here. Lions, leopards, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, vultures & other birds of prey also inhabit the park. For bird watchers, this is the place as over 400 species of bird where recently recorded here which includes migratory one.

Lake Manyara is a viewpoint for some nice pictures of Lake Manyara & its forest from the edge of the Great East African Rift Valley.

Tarangire – Ngorongoro Crater Distance: 50 km

You may take some pictures before descending 600 meters high walls into the Crater floor for a full-day game drive.

In Ngorongoro Crater, discover wildebeest, eland, zebra, hippos, African elephants, gazelles and the rare black rhino in their natural habitat.
