Itinerary

1. Day 1: Valley of the Whales - Karon Lake - Safari

   • Your tour begins with a bus or car ride from Cairo to Al Fayoum, 120 km away.
   • The adventure and fun will begin after resting and having coffee or tea.
   • Explore the Valley of the Whales to witness ancient fossils and whale skeletons dating back millions of years, when the desert was submerged beneath the ocean. Experience the various desert formations and sculptures created by nature.
   • After that, reach Wady Elryan–Waterfalls in the desert.
   • You will then see Karon Lake, the biggest in Egypt, rowing in the middle of the desert.
   • You can enjoy sandboarding, which is incredibly fun, and experience the breathtaking atmosphere of the vast sand sea. The magic lake is in the middle of the desert with unique colours.
   • Afterwards, have a picnic lunch.
   • You will then go on a jeep safari (an incredible experience in the Sahara) and have dinner under the shiny stars.

   Overnight in the desert in a well-furnished tent camping place.

   Meals: Lunch and dinner.

2. Day 2: Explore Cairo

   • Have an early morning breakfast with a gleaming sunrise as you enjoy walking in the middle of the desert.
   • Drive back to Cairo, and you will have the chance to discover the secrets of the great pyramids of Cheops, Khafre, Menkaure, and the holy sphinx.
   • Walking around the area of the pyramids reveals more secrets. 
   • Do it your way to get an unforgettable experience and break free from the routine of a tourist bus.
   • Exploring ancient history through studying papyrus, its fascinating inscriptions, and illustrations.
   • Lunch will be grilled chicken in a restaurant close to the pyramids.
   • Afterwards, take a walk and explore old Cairo, including its ancient gates, cafeterias, streets, mosques, markets, and the well-known Cairo Bazaar.

   Meals: Breakfast and lunch.
