The itinerary

1

Day 01

Salar de Uyuni, Train Cemetery and Incahuasi Island

• We leave for the Salt Flat in a 4x4 car. We will visit the Train Cemetery and the town of Colchani, located on the edge of the Salar, where salt is processed using traditional methods.
• We will continue our adventure until we reach Incahuasi Island, 80 km away. From its summit, in the middle of giant cacti, we can appreciate the fantastic extension of the sea of salt and the Tunupa volcano. We will have time to observe the landscape and take pictures.

Day 02

High-Altitude Lagoons, Siloli Desert and Laguna Colorada

• We leave the Salar to visit the high-altitude lagoons: Laguna Honda, Laguna Ramadita, and Laguna Hedionda. Each has incredible beauty.
• We will also visit a different ecosystem: the Siloli Desert, one of the driest deserts in the world, where the popular Stone Tree is located.
• Finally, we will arrive at Laguna Colorada, so called because of its reddish color, where the Andean flamingos live. It will be a journey where the desert and the lagoons provide peace and serenity, finding ourselves in the middle of nowhere.

Day 03

Geysers, Thermal Baths, Laguna Verde and Return to Uyuni

• Early in the morning, we will leave Laguna Colorada to visit the geysers, where we will have the feeling of being on another planet. Then we will go to the thermal baths, where we will enjoy a relaxing bath surrounded by a beautiful landscape.
• Then, we will continue to Laguna Verde (Green Lagoon), whose waters have a magical appearance.
• Afterwards, we will make a stop in the emblematic Dali Desert, so called because of the interesting colors of its mountains, which resemble the paintings of the master.
• Finally, we will return to the bus station in Uyuni to return to La Paz.
