The itinerary

Day 01

Dar es Salaam to Nyerere National Park Game Drive

In the morning, you will be picked up in Dar es Salaam, where our professional driver will take you to Selous Game Reserve (Nyerere National Park) via the shorter Kisarawe route, taking about 3.5 hours to reach the destination.
On arrival at Nyerere National Park, you will enjoy game drives until sunset, with opportunities to see elephants, lions, zebras, giraffes, antelopes, and more. You will also spot birds and admire the landscape's varied topography, including wetlands, dry grassland, light acacia forest, and higher ground with vast views of far-off mountains.
Afterward, you will head to the camp or lodge for dinner and an overnight stay, preparing for the next day.

Day 02

Bushman Walking Tour, Rufiji River Boat Safari and Return

On this day, you will have morning tea before setting out on a bushman walking tour in the forest with our bushman, accompanied by an armed ranger. You will then continue with a boat safari on the Rufiji River, Tanzania's biggest and longest river, which is approximately 600 kilometres (370 miles) long. Its source is in southwestern Tanzania, and its mouth is in the Indian Ocean. The river has many attractions, including crocodiles, hippos, river cliffs, birds, and more.
After the boat tour, you will return to the camp or lodge for breakfast. Then, prepare for your journey back to Dar es Salaam, with time to stop for lunch along the way.
