Day 01

Addis Ababa Highlights with Mount Entoto and Folkloric Dinner

• On arrival, we will meet you at the airport, allow time for you to refresh, and then begin your sightseeing tour of Addis Ababa with a drive up to Mount Entoto for a panoramic view of the city.
• Descend and drive to the National Museum, where you will have a chance to see the oldest hominids, including the 'Lucy' fossil. Continue to Holy Trinity, built during WWII.
• Then proceed to the Ethnographic Museum, which used to be the palace of Emperor Haile Selassie. Later, after lunch, we will take you to one of the holiest churches in Ethiopia, Holy Trinity Church. There, we will see the tombs of Emperor Haile Selassie and the amazing paintings of the church. After visiting the museums of this church, we will continue to Merkato, the biggest market in East Africa.
• In the evening, attend a folkloric dinner where you will have a chance to taste several national dishes and watch dances from the various ethnic groups of Ethiopia. The traditional coffee ceremony will also be served.
• Later, you will be transferred to the airport for your departure.
