3-Day Amboseli and Tsavo East Safari from Mombasa with Kilimanjaro

• 0700 hrs: Get picked up from the hotel as dawn breaks.

• Drive inland along the Mombasa/Nairobi Highway, covering a distance of 140 km to enter Tsavo East National Park through Bachuma Gate. The gate allows for a brief stop for refreshments and a call of nature.

• Commence the day's game viewing on entry, looking out for lion, buffalo, cheetah, elephant, baboons, gerenuk, a variety of antelopes, hundreds of species of birds, and plenty of other plains game.

• Proceed to Voi Wildlife Lodge or similar for lunch.

• In the afternoon, return to the park for game tracking with the Kenyan driver/guide.

• Drive near the water holes where animals come to quench their thirst.

• Return to the lodge by sunset for dinner and your overnight stay.

• Rise early for a morning game drive in the park.

• After breakfast, depart for Amboseli National Park with a game drive en route while exiting the park.

• Continue to Amboseli, right at the foot of Mount Kilimanjaro, the highest peak in Africa.

• Check in at Kibo Safari Camp for lunch.

• Enjoy afternoon game tracking in this magnificent park, looking out for hippo, elephant, wildebeest, lion, zebra, gazelle, kudu, hartebeest, and numerous species of birds.

Dinner and overnight stay at the camp.

• Wake up for an early morning game drive in the park. This is also the ideal time to view the eternal snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, if the weather permits.

• Return to the camp for breakfast, after which you will drive back to Mombasa, with lunch en route.

• Arrive at your beach hotel in the late afternoon.
