6-Day Samburu, Lake Nakuru and Masai Mara Safari from Nairobi

• Get picked up from the hotel at 0730 hrs. and depart for the dramatic semi-arid scrubland of the Northern Frontier.

• Arrive in Samburu by lunchtime.

• After lunch, embark on a game drive to sight resident wildlife species like the Reticulated Giraffe, Grevy's Zebra, Beisa Oryx, and the Blue-necked Somali Ostrich that are rare elsewhere in the country.

Dinner and overnight stay will be at the spectacular Samburu Sopa Lodge.

• Spend a full day exploring the park. The highlights of the Samburu Game Reserve are its spectacular scenic beauty, rivers, and forests. It is an area where the local people have a rich and colorful heritage. The reserve has numerous permanent springs and a wealth of wildlife, including leopard, hippo, elephant, lion, reticulated giraffe, Grevy's zebra, and crocodile in the Ewaso Nyiro River. Over 365 species of birds have been identified in the sanctuaries.

Dinner and overnight stay at Samburu Sopa Lodge.

• Depart for Lake Nakuru after breakfast.

• Arrive in time for lunch at the lodge, located inside Lake Nakuru National Park.

• In the afternoon, embark on a game drive and have the opportunity to spot leopards, rhino, and the famous pink flamingos, as well as a variety of other wildlife.

Dinner and overnight stay at Lake Nakuru Lodge or Flamingo Hill Tented Lodge.

• After breakfast, depart for Maasai Mara - the land of vast migrating animals. Arrival will be in time for lunch.

• After lunch, embark on a game drive with your Kenyan driver/guide.

Dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sentrim Camp or Mara Sopa Lodge.

• Spend a full day in Masai Mara with early morning and evening game drives.

• Explore one of the most famous and beautiful national parks in the world, with an opportunity to spot the Big Five and their associated predators.

• After a leisurely breakfast, return to Nairobi, where the safari ends.
