Day 01
Mirador Ferrier Hike and Río Pingo Trail Adventure
- 07:00: Departure from Puerto Natales to Torres del Paine National Park, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- 08:30: Enter the national park through the Río Serrano Gate.
- 09:00: Arrive at the Río Pingo Nursery sector of CONAF and begin the walk along the Mirador Ferrier Trail. This hike takes around 4 hours round trip, has a medium/high difficulty level, and features an incline of 40% to 45% in the first section, later increasing to 60% on the final stretch. The trail leads to a viewpoint more than 700 metres above sea level, where you can enjoy fuller views of Glacier Gray, Lake Gray, and Gray Beach, as well as appreciate the Paine Massif and the Paine Horns from another visual perspective.
- After descending to the Río Pingo Nursery sector, we will serve our respective box lunch.
- Later, we will continue to the Río Pingo Trail, which has a low/medium difficulty level and a duration of approximately 4 hours round trip. It follows almost the entire Pingo River, which flows from the glacier and lake of the same name. In this sector, it is possible to observe all kinds of fauna and birds, and, if conditions allow, we may see huemules.
- End this walk in the Chorrillo de los Salmones waterfall sector, which is easy to access and enjoy.
- At the end of our walk in the sector, we will head back to the city of Puerto Natales, arriving at approximately 6:30 p.m.
