The itinerary

Day 01

Portería Sarmiento Trek and Cuernos del Paine Viewpoint

• 07:00: Departure from Pto Natales, heading towards Torres del Paine National Park along Route 9 in the direction of Villa Cerro Castillo.
• Arrive at the Portería Sarmiento CONAF sector at around 09:30 to begin a trekking walk on this trail for approximately 3 hours, with LOW/MEDIUM difficulty.
• Spot pumas, guanacos, and other animals in the national park, and visit an area of rock art dating back more than 8,000 years.
• After returning to our transport vehicle at the Laguna Amarga gate, continue to the Sendero Salto Grande and Mirador Cuernos sector, with MEDIUM/LOW difficulty and a duration of 2 hours round trip.
• See part of the hydrographic system composed of Lake Peohé, Salto Grande, and Lake Nonderskjöld, and appreciate a close view of the Cuernos del Paine and the Paine massif.
• Return to our van and head back to Pto Natales, arriving at around 6:30 p.m.

• These programs are in official program status, dated 05/18/2024, with definitive prices from service providers for the 2024/2025 season.
• The programs are valid for seven months, from September 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025, during the high tourism season in Magallanes.
• I must clarify that this program is exclusively for medium- to high-level trekking activities, so it is not recommended for people with coronary problems, hypertension, or another associated disease.
• Specifically, I must clarify that we are not a travel agency; I am only a local guide who offers excursion services with transportation and basic food.
• Transfer times are relative and can change depending on the activity carried out each day, including weather conditions and wind alerts during the day.
• These excursions must depart from Pto Natales. Any other departure point must be discussed in advance to determine additional costs (Villa Cerro Castillo, Valle del Serrano, within Torres del Paine National Park, etc.).
• It must be made clear that participating passengers must have the physical and medical condition required for the activity, and it is recommended that passengers have active international insurance.
