Day 01
Base Torres Trail and Las Torres Base Viewpoint
- 07:00: Departure from Puerto Natales toward Torres del Paine National Park, with a travel time of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes.
- Arrival at the Portería Laguna Amarga sector to enter the national park, then continue for another 30 minutes to reach the welcome center of Estancia Cerro Paine at approximately 09:00.
- Check equipment, food, and hydration, and attend a technical briefing before starting the trail. The trek has a medium/high difficulty level, covers 20 km round trip, and includes inclines of 40% to 45% during the first three hours and a 60% incline in the final section.
- Begin the hike toward Refugio y Campamento El Chileno, arriving at approximately 10:00. Rest for 15 minutes before continuing along the trail toward the outskirts of Campamento CONAF Torres.
- Complete the final section of the trail to arrive at the Las Torres Base viewpoint around midday. Depending on prevailing weather conditions, the stay will be approximately 30 to 45 minutes.
- Return to the transport vehicle at the welcome center sector of Estancia Cerro Paine around 6:30 p.m., then head back to the city of Puerto Natales, arriving at approximately 8:30 p.m.
