Lamanai Ruins and New River Boat Journey

Drive for one hour from Belize City to the boating area.
Take a one-hour boat ride to reach the site and observe the famous Lamanai ruins. Lamanai is the Maya word for submerged crocodile in the Maya language, and it is also the name of the third-largest and possibly most interesting archaeological site in Belize. Franciscan missionaries recorded the site's name as Lamanay or Lamayna in the seventeenth century.
Spend around one hour at the site.
Return to Belize City by boat.
