Day 01: Arrive in Paro drive to Thimphu
- Arrival at Paro International Airport. Meet your guide and drive to Thimphu (1.5 hours, 55 km).
- Check-in at the hotel and relax. If time permits, explore Thimphu city.

Day 02: Halt in Thimphu
- Visit Tashichho Dzong, the seat of Bhutan's government.
- Explore the National Memorial Chorten.
- Visit the Folk Heritage Museum and the National Library.

Day 03: Thimphu to Punakha
- Drive to Punakha (2-3 hours, 74 km). Stop at Dochula Pass (3,100m) for stunning views of the Himalayas.
- Visit the Punakha Dzong, the "Palace of Great Happiness," and explore the suspension bridge over the Pho Chu River.

Day 04: Punakha Drupchen

- Drive back to Paro (4-5 hours, 125 km). Visit the Simtokha Dzong en route. Explore the Rinpung Dzong, an impressive fortress monastery. Visit the National Museum housed in the Ta Dzong.

- Visit Kyichu Lhakhang, one of the oldest temples in Bhutan.
- Explore the ruins of Drukgyel Dzong, a historical fortress.

- Early morning hike to Taktshang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Enjoy breathtaking views from the monastery perched on a cliffside.
