Half-Day Maasai Village Visit in Kajiado

- Begin pick-up from your Nairobi hotel or residence.
- Drive approximately 100 miles (around 2 hours) into the rural Maasai heartland of Kajiado District.

- Arrive at the Maasai village and receive a traditional welcome of songs and dances.
- Meet a village elder, who leads a guided tour of the surrounding lands.
- Learn about traditional land management, tribal values, and medicinal herbs.
- Help herd cattle and understand their cultural and spiritual importance.
10:30 AM
- Get dressed in a traditional Maasai shuka (red, green, or blue) by a village elder's wife.
- Join the women in constructing a new manyatta (traditional hut) using natural materials.
- Discover the techniques and cultural meanings behind the manyatta structures.

- Participate in an open-fire cooking session with Maasai mothers.
- Help prepare a traditional Kenyan meal while exchanging stories and cultural insights.

- Meet young Maasai warriors (Morani) and learn about their rites of passage.
- Observe and join a fire-making demonstration using traditional wooden drills.

- Begin the return drive to Nairobi.
