Itinerary

1. DAY 01 : MORONDAVA - TSINGY

   • You will meet your tour guide at your hotel or at the airport in Morondava early in the morning after breakfast. From there, we will drive directly to the Tsingy of Bemaraha National Park. On the way, we will pass by some small villages, Baobab Avenue, Tsiribihina River, and Manambolo River. We will stop for lunch at Belo sur Tsiribihina around noon. The total driving distance is around 214km and will take approximately 8 hours. 

   We will stay overnight in Bekopaka Village at your chosen hotel.

2. DAY 02 : CANOE RIVER TRIP & SMALL TSINGY

   • Meet your guide at the reception hall early in the morning. Then, drive to Manambolo for a 10-minute trip to start your 2-hour canoe ride. You will see two beautiful caves and the Tombs of Vazimba.
   • After visiting the small Tsingy to see the famous Tsingy, a unique rock formation of limestone rocks with razor-shaped blades, you can explore the area. The small Tsingy is home to 11 species of lemurs, including the white and brown lemurs, around 103 species of birds, reptiles such as chameleons, iguanas, geckos, and snakes, as well as medicinal plants and bats. The tour takes approximately 4 hours in total. 
   • After the tour, lunch will be provided at the hotel. You can also visit the village of Bekopaka to experience the lifestyle of the Vazimba people. 

   We will stay overnight in Bekopaka Village at your chosen hotel.

3. DAY 03 : BIG TSINGY

   • Meet your guide at the reception area very early after breakfast. Then, drive 17km north to reach the starting point of Big Tsingy. Today, you will have the opportunity to explore one of the most spectacular attractions on the island. You will climb to the top of Tsingy to see the roof of these magnificent razor-shaped limestone formations and enjoy a panoramic view.
   • On the way up to the viewpoints, you will pass forests and caves. You will have lunch in the national park. The total visit will take approximately 5 hours, and you will be back at your hotel around 3 PM. You can relax in the afternoon.

   We will stay overnight in Bekopaka Village at your chosen hotel.

4. DAY 04 : BEKOPAKA –BAOBAB AVENUE SUNSET - MORONDAVA

   • After breakfast, pack up and check out. Then, meet your guide at the reception and drive back to Morondava. Along the way, you will stop at a sacred Baobab, Baobab Avenue at Sunset, and have lunch at Belo Town. The total drive will take around 8 hours. Today, you will enjoy one of the most breathtaking pictures at the Island's most visited attraction, Baobab Avenue, and the legendary Sacred Baobab.
