Pinang Peranakan Museum and Clan Jetties Tour

8:30 am: Pick up from the hotel lobby.
9:00 am: Visit the Pinang Peranakan Museum. The building typifies the 19th-century architectural style of the Peranakan, the local-born Chinese of mixed heritage. The museum showcases more than 1,000 precious Straits Chinese antiques, including a bridal chamber, furniture, clothing, and much more.
10:00 am: Visit the Clan Jetties to gain better insight into George Town's tangible heritage. The Clan Jetties - Lim, Chew, Tan, Lee, and Khoo - along the Weld Quay waterfront in George Town are what remain of a community that once stretched as far as Jelutong.
