Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäcker | Schloss Schönbrunn | Café Restaurant

Your tour begins at Café Gerstner K. u. K. Hofzuckerbäcker, located in the main courtyard of Schönbrunn Palace.

1-hour tour: Please note that this tour begins at the Schönbrunn Museum Shop, located near the main entrance gate.

Our guide will lead you through the grand courtyards of Schönbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of the Habsburgs. Discover its many attractions and immerse yourself in old stories of royal arrivals and grand imperial events that once took place here.

Schönbrunn Palace

Step inside Schönbrunn Palace with skip-the-line tickets - no need to wait in long queues! As the official Schönbrunn partners, we offer exclusive access to 22 palace rooms, including the Lantern Room and the Hunting Room that individual visitors miss out on. Admire the opulence of one of the world's grandest royal residences and learn about the daily life and royal court of the imperial Habsburg dynasty. (Please note that admission tickets to Schönbrunn Palace are not included in the 1-hour tour of the Palace Exteriors, Courtyards and Gardens).

Visitor Center / Souvenir Shop

Take a short break at the Visitor Center. Snap some photos of Schönbrunn’s majestic façade and surroundings and pose for our group photo.

Schönbrunn Gardens

Explore the stunning Schönbrunn Gardens, filled with fountains, sculptures, and floral displays. Your guide will walk you through its design, symbolism, and royal pastimes once enjoyed here. Walk past the Neptune Fountain, the Labyrinth Garden, the road leading to Schönbrunn Zoo, and discover other attractions of the Schönbrunn estate, such as the Theater and Children's Museum!

Gloriette Hill

End your tour with a view of Gloriette, which overlooks the palace and gardens from atop of a hill. While our group won't go on a hike, you're free to explore the rest of Schönbrunn estate, including the Gloriette Hill and other nearby attractions on your own after the tour.

Palace Entry (2.5h tour only): Includes reserved, skip-the-line tickets. This 22-room tour is exclusive to official partners and cannot be bought on-site. (Note: There is no Sisi exhibition here; book our Ho tour instead!)
Free garden access is included for both tours. In winter, the gardens are unlit and lack greenery; morning bookings are highly recommended. Outdoor routes may change during extreme weather (like snow). Tours running from Nov 8 to Jan 6 include a visit to the local Christmas Market.
Audio headsets are provided inside the palace for groups of 10+.
Commentary is provided strictly in the single language selected at booking.
This walking tour is not suitable for those with mobility issues and wheelchair users.
Don't bring large bags, backpacks, coats, umbrellas, or baby carriages (no on-site storage).
