Birdwatching Excursion to Keoladeo National Park
- Depart from Delhi:
- Start your day early in the morning to make the most of your visit to Keoladeo National Park. The distance from Delhi to Bharatpur is approximately 250 kilometers, and the journey by road takes about 4 hours, depending on traffic conditions.
- Arrive at Keoladeo National Park:
- Once you arrive in Bharatpur, head straight to the park entrance. It is advisable to arrive as early as possible to enjoy the best birdwatching opportunities, when the birds are most active.
- Explore the Park on a Rickshaw Ride:
- The park is known for its extensive network of trails and wetlands. To truly appreciate the birdlife and natural beauty, consider taking a guided rickshaw ride. Local rickshaw pullers are knowledgeable about the park's biodiversity and can help you spot and identify various bird species.
- Visit Key Birdwatching Spots:
- Some of the key birdwatching spots within the park include the Keoladeo Temple, the Shanti Kutir watchtower, and various hides and observation points. Be sure to bring your binoculars and camera to capture the incredible avian diversity.
- Birdwatching and Photography:
