Visit the magical Postclassic port of Tulum for an hour, then continue to Muyil, just 20 minutes from Tulum and part of the Sian Ka'an Biosphere Reserve.

Reach the Muyil lagoon and take a boat across a man-made canal, then continue through a lazy river once used by the ancient Mayans. Xalapa is the name of the temple at the beginning of an incredible floating experience in crystal-clear fresh water on its way to the Mexican Caribbean.
Listen to the sound of birds and the wind blowing through the seasonally flooded saw grass fields, and float down the lazy river for around 20 minutes, surrounded by mangroves, orchids, bromeliads, and cacti.
