Kraków Old Town, Wawel Hill, Kazimierz and Schindler's Factory
- Meet in Kraków Rynek between 9:00 and 10:00 am.
- After our meeting and a quick introduction, we begin with a walking tour of Kraków's Old Town. The tour takes you through the city's historical sites, including Wawel Castle, Main Market Square, and St. Mary's Basilica. This part lasts approximately 2-3 hours.
- An additional entrance ticket applies for the Wawel Castle exhibition room, which must be pre-booked. A guided tour of the Wawel Hill Complex takes around 1-1.5 hours.
- Next, we stroll along the Vistula River and visit the spectacular viewpoint of Wawel Hill. The hill offers stunning views of Kraków and is a great spot to relax and enjoy the scenery.
- After visiting the flame-throwing dragon, the Wawel Dragon, we walk to Kazimierz, Kraków's Jewish Quarter. This charming district has a vibrant history, rustic streets, and cosy cafe options. Kazimierz Centre also has shops with the best Zapiekankas in Poland :) This visit takes about 1.5 hours.
- From Kazimierz, we walk to Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory, located at Lipowa 4. This place offers a unique perspective on Kraków during WWII (1939-45), when the Nazis occupied the city.
- After the Oskar Schindler's Enamel Factory tour, we head to the fragments of the Ghetto Wall and the Jewish Ghetto Memorial. We then walk or take public transport to reach Kraków Eye, the Ferris wheel offering a bird's-eye view of Kraków. It is a spectacular activity admired by kids and adults alike.
- From there, we return to Kraków centre by public transport to finish our walking tour. With my favourite cafe recommendation, I will say goodbye to you :)
