Itinerary

1. Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire National Park

   • Depart from Arusha and head to Tarangire National Park. The journey takes you through the scenic countryside, offering glimpses of local life and vibrant landscapes.
   • Upon arrival, embark on your first game drive in Tarangire. This park is famous for its diverse wildlife, including large herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, and various bird species. Look for the iconic baobab trees that dot the landscape.
   • After an exciting day of wildlife viewing, check in at your lodge or camp for a comfortable overnight stay within the park.

2. Day 2: Tarangire to Serengeti National Park

   • Leave Tarangire National Park behind and go to the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. The journey offers wildlife-spotting opportunities as you traverse the vast plains.
   • As you enter the Serengeti, be prepared for some incredible game drives. The park is famed for its abundant wildlife, including the Big Five and the Great Migration, where massive herds of wildebeests and zebras roam.
   • Your safari guide will skillfully navigate the Serengeti’s terrain to ensure you have the best chance of encountering these magnificent creatures.

3. Day 3: Serengeti Adventure

   • Enjoy a full-day game drive with a lunch box to Serengeti.

4. Day 4: Serengeti – Ngorongoro Conservation Area

   • Prepare for an early morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater, where you can witness an incredible concentration of wildlife, including the Big Five—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards, and rhinos.
   • Your experienced guide will take you through the diverse landscapes, from open savannah to lush forest, ensuring you encounter a wide variety of species.

5. Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater – Arusha

   • On the fifth day of your Tanzania safari, bid farewell to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and begin your journey back to Arusha.
   • As you exit the crater, you will have one last opportunity for game viewing, so keep your eyes open for any wildlife you might have missed. Your guide will share interesting facts and insights about the animals and the conservation efforts in the area.
