Day 02
Entertainment and Financial District Highlights
- Look up at the CN Tower and the skyscrapers that blend classic and modern architecture. Walk through the PATH, the world's largest underground mall, which connects much of downtown Toronto. You'll also see the Canada Walk of Fame, dedicated to Canadian celebrities, and check out the world-famous theatres in the Entertainment District.
Day 03
Old Toronto and St. Lawrence Market
- Stop at St. Lawrence Market to try Canadian flavours such as maple butter tarts, then pass the Flatiron Building, Berczy Park, which has gone to the dogs, and St. James Cathedral.
Day 04
Distillery District's Historic Charm
- Formerly home to the Gooderham & Worts Distillery, this is now one of Toronto's liveliest areas, with year-round festivities, the Mill Street Brewery, art galleries, and cafes.
Day 05
Yonge-Dundas Square and City Hall
- Visit Toronto's Times Square, right across from the Eaton Centre and The Hudson's Bay Company, one of North America's oldest corporations. Stop by Nathan Phillips Square at Toronto City Hall for a photo opportunity with the Toronto sign.
Day 06
Queen Street West and Graffiti Alley
- Explore Toronto's hippest street, pass the Citytv building, head down Graffiti Alley, and maybe do some shopping.
Day 07
Chinatown and Kensington Market
- Visit Canada's largest Chinatown, next to the vibrant Kensington Market, which has still preserved its charm.
Day 08
Yorkville's Music and Style Legacy
- Also known as the Mink Mile, Yorkville was where Toronto's hippie movement took place in the 1960s and 1970s, and where great Canadian musicians like Neil Young, Gordon Lightfoot, and Joni Mitchell got their start. You can also climb the Canadian Shield.
