The itinerary

Day 01

Explore the Legendary Cu Chi Tunnels

• 7:30 AM: Our tour guide will meet you in the hotel lobby. Then, drive 1.5 hours northwest of Saigon through the southern countryside to the legendary Cu Chi Tunnels.
• Stretching from Saigon to the Vietnam-Cambodia border, the network includes countless trapdoors, entangled living areas, storage facilities and weapons factories, mini military hospitals, command centres, and even kitchens. On this tour, you will explore the life of a Viet Cong soldier underground.
• Stretching over 200 km, this tunnel network - dug by hand - connected shelters, posts, hospitals, and weapon bunkers. You can walk through the area and learn about the life of the VC, as well as see the cleverly disguised entrances and elaborate booby traps.

Day 02

Discover My Tho and Bến Tre in the Mekong Delta

• The minivan will take around two hours to reach the Mekong area.
• Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant on the way to the Mekong.
• After lunch, leave the big city behind as the scenery is gradually replaced by rice paddies and rural villages on your drive to My Tho.
• The trip will start with small boats cruising on the river to visit a coconut factory. Here, you will learn how coconut candy is made and taste some local products.
• Then, you will have a chance to ride a horse-drawn carriage through the village and enjoy some tropical fruits.
• After that, you cannot miss the amazing rowing boat trip on the small canal.
• Another islet on this trip will bring you to a small bee farm, where you can enjoy honey tea and other local products.
• Then return to your hotel at around 5:30 - 6:00 PM.
