Itinerary

1. Day 1: Journey to Cat Tien National Park (L, D)

   • 7:30 AM Pick up at the hotel or appointment and depart for Cat Tien National Park. The drive takes about 3.5 or 4 hours, with short breaks.
   • On arrival, at 11:30 AM, you will check in at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge, an elegant wooden bungalow, and enjoy your lunch in the forest.
   • Then it’s time for an exciting walk with the tour guide into the tropical jungle to learn more about the variety of plant and animal life. The trekking into the rainforest in which you will gaze into the Giant Tung Tree and put yourself in harmony with wildlife. It’s up to you. The trekking route can be further to more sites of Lagerstroemia Ovalfolia (BangLang), Tetrameles nudiflora (Tung), and Cycas rumphii (Thien Tue).
   • After that, you can explore freely: biking on small trails through the jungle, simply relaxing into the glorious view, or maybe playing a quiet snooker game.
   • At 7:00 PM, have dinner at the center of the National Park, then you will have an unforgettable experience on the

2. Day 2: Wildlife Exploration and Return to HCMC(B, L)

   • Early wake up and have breakfast in the lively forest, sounds of birds singing and gibbon calls.
   • At 7:30 am, embark on a thrilling jeep ride to the Crocodile Swap – the home of not only Siamese crocodiles but also many rare birds which have already been in the Red Book Animals Protection of Vietnam and the world. As you cover the 10km distance from your lodge, keep your eyes peeled for the charming peacock courtship dances, the melodious sound from colourful birds on the hundreds of year trees or the sight of innocent deer seeking food.
   • Immerse yourself in the majestic scenery of the Crocodile Swap. This is a sightseeing opportunity and a chance to delve deeper into the ecosystem. Learn more about the freshwater Siamese crocodile and hear some intriguing myths about this wetland, all while surrounded by fully wild lotus.
   • After, get back to your lodge for lunch and check out.
   • At 2:00 PM, car transfer back to Saigon, drop-off at about 6:00 PM.

   Note: The Nam Cat Tien National Park area doesn’t have national electricity power, and the Lodge or Guesthouse uses a generator to run all electricity systems. Thus, there is a limited time for using electricity inside. For this reason, we do not guarantee a 24/7 electricity supply.
