4-Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Wildlife Safari via Rift Valley

Get picked up from your hotel or place of stay, then make a brief stop at the office for a safari briefing.

Depart on a journey south along the floor of the Great Rift Valley, with a stop at the viewpoint for a breathtaking view of the Rift Valley.

Take photos and buy souvenirs as you listen to African tales about the formation of the Rift Valley.

Arrive in Masai Mara in the late afternoon and enjoy a game drive until twilight. Dinner and overnight at Enkanjiang Camp or a similar camp.

Spend the full day game viewing across the rich, tree-studded grassland and rolling hills. The famous Mara is renowned for its great herds of plain game, black-maned lions, leopard, and cheetah, but it also contains numerous elephants and virtually every type of wildlife to be found in Kenya. Dinner and overnight at Enkajiang Camp, Lenchada Camp, or a similar camp. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B, L, D).

After breakfast, proceed to Lake Nakuru, which is often referred to as the pink lake for its great masses of pink flamingos. It is also home to the white and black rhinos and about 350 different species of birds, making it an ornithological paradise.

Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight at Matfarm Hotel or a similar hotel. Meal plan: Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner (B, L, D).

After breakfast, proceed for a 5-hour game drive at Nakuru National Park.

Later, leave for Nairobi with lunch on the way. Arrive in Nairobi between 4 pm and 5 pm, where the safari ends.
