9-Day Ghorepani Poon Hill Trek in Annapurna with Sunrise Views

• Get picked up at the airport and transferred to the hotel.

• Finalize all the trekking formalities, get briefed about the program, and get introduced to the guide.

• Stroll around in the evening.

Overnight in hotel.

• After breakfast, drive to Pokhara. During the drive, enjoy the best views of green mountains and villages along the route.

• Upon reaching the enchanting city of Pokhara, enjoy magnificent views of Dhaulagiri, Manaslu, Machhapuchhare, the five peaks of Annapurna, and others.

• Check in to the hotel, and in the evening, hang around exploring the Lakeside or go boating.

Overnight at hotel.

• Drive to Nayapul, the trek starting point. After a short 15-minute walk along the bank of the Modi Khola, reach Birethanti (1065m), a large village with many shops and teahouses.

• From there, the trail continues through the village and follows the north bank of the Bhurungdi Khola.

• The trail climbs steadily up and finally reaches Tikhedhunga. This trek offers a short and relatively easy day walk.

Overnight at lodge.

• Leaving Tikhedhunga, begin the journey with a steep climb to Ulleri. Ulleri is a large Magar village at 2070m.

• Then, the trail continues to ascend more gently through fine forests of oak and rhododendron towards Banthanti at 2250m.

• Make your trek towards Nangethanti at 2460m.

• After an hour of gentle walking from Nangethanti, reach Ghorepani.

Overnight at lodge.

• Get up early in the morning and go for a hike to Poon Hill. Admire the incredible sunrise and panoramic views of the Himalayas, including Mt. Dhaulagiri, Mt. Annapurna South, Mt. Annapurna I, Mt. Fishtail, and many more.

• After the excursion to Poon Hill, go back to the hotel, have breakfast, and continue walking down to Tadapani.

• Leaving Tadapani, trek along the terraced fields beneath the splendid panorama of awe-inspiring glaciated Himalayan mountain ranges.

• After passing a succession of flatlands, forest, cultivated lands, and a suspension bridge, arrive at the beautiful village of Ghandruk after walking for 3 to 4 hours.

• An ideal vantage point in this pristine village offers breathtaking views of Annapurna South, Gangapurna, Annapurna III, Machhapuchhare, and Hiunchuli.

Overnight at lodge.

• Leaving Ghandruk, the trail moves along the bank of Modi Khola to Birethanti. En route, pass through forests, rice terraces, waterfalls, and green scenery. From Birethanti, walk for almost twenty minutes along a flat path up to Nayapul (New Bridge).

• Board a vehicle for the drive to Pokhara, which takes about one hour.

Overnight in Pokhara.

• From Pokhara, it is a six-hour drive to Kathmandu.

• The highway passes through the river valley and follows a series of steep rocky gorges, landslides, and roaring river rapids, crossed by suspension bridges.

• Depending on your flight time, get transferred to the international airport for the flight back to your home country or next destination.
