Description

Explore Uganda's Kibale National Park, home to diverse wildlife, including primates and mammals. Next, enjoy an exhilarating chimpanzee tracking adventure, observing these remarkable creatures in their natural habitat. Then, conclude your journey with a scenic drive to Entebbe, stopping at the Equator for a memorable farewell before departing.

Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival and Exploration of Kibale National Park
- Upon your arrival in Uganda, you will be welcomed and picked by our Kubwa Five Safaris guide who will be holding an A4 paper with your name printed on it at Entebbe International Airport and be transferred to Kibale National Park.
- On arrival, you will check in at your lodge.
- Later in the evening, you will go to Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary.
- It is a fascinating area, located in Magombe swamp.
- This area is recognized for an extensive array of biodiversity.
- Among which are several primate species like the red colobus monkey, baboon, black and white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey-cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red-tailed monkey, and the L’Hoest monkey.
- Additional mammals such as sitatunga, mongooses, bush pigs, otters, plus bushbucks.
Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.
Day 2: Chimpanzee Tracking and Nature Observation
- After an early breakfast, you will go to the park headquarters with your guide and a packed lunch to be briefed about the Do's and Don'ts of Chimpanzee trekking.
- After this, you will embark on the trekking. This will take between 2 to 6 hours depending on the location of these amazing creatures.
- Enjoy the rich forest biodiversity of the park and be sure to see several bird species as you are trekking.
- The opportunity to see chimpanzees in the wild is one of the most memorable of all safari activities.
- Getting close to these creatures that share so much of our DNA is a once-in-a-lifetime experience, and the excitement of walking through the forest and knowing that they are close will stay with you forever.
- After trekking, you will head back to your lodge and relax.
Dinner and overnight at Chimpanzee Forest Lodge.
Day 3: Departure via the Equator
- After your breakfast, you will be driven to Entebbe.
- On your way, you will have a stopover at the Equator for lunch in Masaka.
- See where this imaginary line divides our planet into two equal hemispheres.
- Snacks, souvenirs, and photographs may be taken here.
- After lunch, you will be driven to Entebbe International Airport for your scheduled flight back home.
- Much as we would like your tour with us to last forever, sadly, today marks the end of your safari.
- Having shared so many wonderful experiences together, it is time to say goodbye and look back together on an amazing safari.
- We hope that you will come back to travel with us again one day.

All our Safari Vehicles have WI-FI Internet to ensure permanent connectivity of our clients wherever we are and to enable them to share their lifetime Memories.

Our guide drivers pick up all our clients from Entebbe International Airport, and we can also pick them up from their locations/stations of choice (at No Extra Cost).

What To Bring

Clothing: Lightweight, long-sleeved shirts and pants, T-shirts and shorts, a wide-brimmed hat or cap, comfortable and sturdy shoes.

Rain Gear: Lightweight, waterproof jacket.

Swimwear: If water-based activities are planned.

Sunglasses and Sunscreen: High SPF

Sunscreen for sun protection.

Insect Repellent: To protect against mosquitoes and other bugs.

Binoculars and Camera: To observe and capture wildlife.

Reusable Water Bottle: You must stay hydrated in the heat.

Travel Documents: Passport, visa, and any required permits (All necessary permits, such as Chimpanzee Trekking Permits, shall be provided by our guide in Uganda, and a copy shall be shared with the client before departure from the country of origin).

Medications and First Aid: Personal medications and a basic first-aid kit. (All our vehicles are well equipped with fully stocked First-Aid kits, though we advise clients with special medications and drugs to carry along.)
