Day 02
Badagry Slave Route to Ouidah
- Stop at the Badagry Slave Center on the way out of Nigeria and understand the history of the transatlantic slave trade before crossing into Benin Republic.
- Photo stop at the Amazon statue in Benin.
Overnight stay in Ouidah.
Day 03
Ouidah Heritage Sites and Onward to Lomé
- Explore Ouidah's Museum of History, Python Temple, and Sacred Forest, and also learn about voodoo culture.
- Cross the border and stop at Togoville and the Agbodrafo slave site.
- Explore the Fetish Market in Lomé.
Overnight stay in Lomé.
Day 04
Lomé City Sights and Arrival in Accra
- Proceed through Lomé and visit the Independence Monument and the very popular Grand Marché Market.
- Cross the border to reach Accra.
- Make a photo stop at Independence Arch (Black Star Square) and the lighthouse in Jamestown after reaching Ghana.
- Enjoy dinner at a top Accra restaurant.
Overnight stay in Accra.
Day 05
Cape Coast History and Kakum National Park
- Visit Cape Coast and explore Kakum National Park, Cape Coast Castle (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), and the Cape Coast Castle Museum.
- Return to Accra and take your flight back home from Accra (or your preferred destination) for those departing West Africa.
