Kathmandu Heritage Sightseeing

  • Meet your tour guide and visit Pashupatinath Temple. The temple of Lord Shiva is the most sacred and holiest place for Hindus, and it is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage cultural site. It is believed that the existence of Pashupatinath dates back to 400 BC. This temple stands as a symbol of culture, religion, faith, and tradition in its astonishing architectural beauty.

  • Explore Kathmandu Durbar Square. The focal point of the city is a cluster of ancient palaces, temples, courtyards, and streets. It dates back to the 12th century and is known for its social, historical, religious, and cultural values.

  • Admire the Swayambhunath Stupa. Also known as the Monkey Temple, it is one of the oldest shrines in Kathmandu. It is situated on top of a hill west of Kathmandu, and it is probably the most sacred site for Buddhist pilgrimage.

  • See the Boudhanath Stupa. It is the largest stupa in Nepal and lies 11 km northeast of the center of Kathmandu. It is the holiest Tibetan Buddhist stupa outside Tibet. Rich in Buddhist symbolism, it is the center of Tibetan culture in Kathmandu and is also included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site.
