The itinerary

Day 01

Pampang Culture, Vihara Visit, and Samarinda Markets

Pick up from Hotel Samarinda, then travel by car to Pampang, approximately 45 minutes from the city centre. Upon arrival, enjoy a welcome dance performance, and take pictures with the long-earlobed women and men.
After that, continue by car to the Biggest Vihara Budha Maitreya.
Have lunch at Fortunate Caffe, which serves vegetarian food.
Next, visit Citra Niaga Traditional Market to hunt for souvenirs.
Enjoy dinner at a famous fried rice and fried noodles restaurant in Samarinda.
Drop off at your hotel.

Day 02

Islamic Centre, Traditional Villages, and Riverside Dining

Pick up by car and head to the Islamic Centre, which has a capacity of 40,000.
Continue to Kampung Tenun, where you can see how women make Sarung Tenun in their homes.
Then visit Kampung Ketupat, a community where sticky rice coated in Nipah palm leaf is made every day.
Have lunch in Kampung Ketupat, where traditional soup is served.
Continue to the Oldest Mosque, which was built in 1881.
For the final visit of the day, go to Lampion Garden Park, located beside the river.
Have dinner at Marimar (Mahakam Riverside Market) Food Bazaar.
