The itinerary

Day 01

Arrival and Scenic Drive to Merabu Village

Travel by car from Kalimarau Airport or Tanjung Redeb to Merabu Village, approximately 5 hours.
Arrive at the local guest house, where there is no internet or phone connection. Lunch will be served en route.

Dinner at Merabu Guest House.

Day 02

Beloyot Cave Exploration and Overnight Stay

Breakfast at the guest house.
Walk to Beloyot Cave, approximately 8 kilometres (1-2.5 hours at a normal walking speed).
Lunch in the cave. Walk and hike to caves around Beloyot.
Return for dinner in the cave.

Overnight in Beloyot Cave.

Day 03

Nyadeng Spring Trek and Ketepu Mountain Hike

Early in the morning, return to the village for breakfast. A light breakfast of bread, boiled noodles, biscuits, tea, or coffee can also be taken in Beloyot Cave.
Drop all Beloyot Cave camping gear in the village.
Take a canoe to Nyadeng Harbour.
Walk for about 20 minutes to the edge of Nyadeng Spring.
Hike up to the top of Vertical Ketepu Mountain, approximately 1.5 hours.
Hike down to the tree house beside Nyadeng Spring.
Lunch around the tree house, followed by swimming in Nyadeng Spring, whose water is fresh from the karst.
Return to the harbour, then continue by canoe upstream along the river.
Arrive at the guest house in Merabu Village.
Dinner at the guest house and sleep for the third night there.
