The itinerary

Day 01

Journey Overland to Wahau

  • Travel by car for around 9 hours to Wahau.
  • Arrive in the afternoon at Guest House 8888. Lunch will be served en route.
  • Visit the traditional market in the afternoon or the local market in the evening.

Dinner in a local restaurant.

Day 02

Wehea Cultural Visit and First Forest Treks

  • Breakfast. Proceed to the administration office of the Wehea Cultural Organization.
  • Travel by 4-wheel-drive car to the forest, approximately 2 hours to the lodge.
  • Enjoy the surroundings around the lodge. Lunch at the lodge.
  • First trekking in the afternoon.
  • Return for dinner, followed by the first night trekking.

Day 03

Early Morning Trek and Afternoon Jungle Exploration

  • Third trekking in the early dark morning.
  • Breakfast. Leisure time at the lodge.
  • Lunch at the lodge. The fourth trekking takes place in the afternoon.
  • Return for dinner, followed by the second night trekking.

Day 04

Return by 4WD and Transfer to Berau

  • Breakfast. Travel again by 4WD car to the main road.
  • Lunch en route. Continue by car for approximately 4 hours to Berau.
  • Drop-off at the hotel.
  • Tour ends.
