The itinerary

Day 01

Trek to Laguna Esmeralda through Tierra Mayor Valley

Leaving your hotel, we head north of the city of Ushuaia along National Route No. 3 for 20 km, crossing incredible landscapes to the base of operations, where we begin the trek, which is 10 km round trip in total.
The route takes us into the Tierra Mayor Valley, crossing lenga forests and peat bogs until the final ascent that culminates at Laguna Esmeralda.
This wonderful-coloured water mirror lies at the base of the Ojo del Albino glacier, whose melting waters create it.
After lunch and a rest, we return to the base of operations, finish the trek, and head back by vehicle to your accommodation in the city.
