Embark on a 10-hour trek from Ushuaia to the Ojo del Albino glacier, traveling north along National Route N°3 before setting out on foot through Tierra Mayor Valley. Cross lenga and peat forests to reach Laguna Esmeralda, whose incredible colour comes from the melting of the glacier, then continue across demanding mountain terrain with steep slopes and large rocks. The route leads to a natural terrace with panoramic views of Laguna Esmeralda and the Sorondo mountain range, where Mount Olivia and the 5 Hermanos mountain stand out, before the final ascent to the glacier.
