Hukuru Miskiiy Mosque and Henveiru Heritage

• A landmark of the Maldives and a UNESCO World Heritage site for its unique architecture, this mosque was built in 1705 CE. The mosque is still in use to this day.

People's Majlis and National Governance

• The parliament of the Maldives is commonly known as the People's Majlis.
• The term "Majlis" is derived from the Arabic language and means a place of special gatherings for administrative, social, or religious purposes.

Muliaage Presidential Residence

• The designated and official residence of the President of the Maldives.

Sultan Park and Royal Legacy

• One of the biggest attractions of the Maldives.
• This park was built on the site of the demolished Royal Palace in the 16th century.

Medhu Ziyaarath and Islamic Heritage

• This was part of the Presidential Palace until it was separated from the building and still remains as an enclave of the area.
• It houses the tomb of Moroccan scholar Abul Barakat Yousef Al-Berberi, who is believed to have introduced Islam to the nation in 1153.

Grand Friday Mosque and Islamic Center

• Also known as the Islamic Center of the Maldives, it is named after one of the most celebrated Maldivian heroes, Sultan Muhammad Thakurufaanu Al Auzam of the Maldives.
• Up until 2021, this remained the largest mosque in the Maldives.
• This center serves as a conference hall and an Islamic library and also houses the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of the Maldives.

Chaandhanee Magu Shopping Walk

• A series of souvenir shops and cafés line this road for you to explore.
• Handmade crafts and the workmanship of the locals can be seen in this area while enjoying a cool, refreshing drink from any of the cafés along the road.
