Whale Watching from Reykjavík's Old Harbour

  • Check in at our ticket office by the Old Harbour in downtown Reykjavík at least 15 minutes before departure. Across the street, you will find our floating Wildlife Exhibition, housed on board a converted fishing vessel permanently docked at the pier. This is where you board the whale-watching boat.
  • On board, you will find several outdoor viewing platforms, a heated indoor saloon with large windows, a cafeteria where you can buy light refreshments, toilet facilities, and a cloakroom where you can borrow blankets and overalls for the duration of the tour. Feel free to stay outside in the fresh air or settle inside the heated lounge and enjoy the views from within.
  • Our excellent naturalist guides will provide live commentary throughout the tour and notify you of any sightings as you go.
