Day 01

Pokhara, Nayapul, Poon Hill and Ghandruk Trek

Day 01: Drive from Pokhara to Nayapul - Trek to Tikhedhunga or Ulleri
Your journey begins with a scenic 1.5-hour drive from Pokhara to Nayapul, the trek's starting point. After completing the permits at Birethanti, you'll walk along the banks of the Modi Khola through lush farmland and charming villages like Hile. Depending on your pace and energy, you'll either stay overnight at Tikhedhunga or continue the uphill trek to Ulleri after climbing a long stone staircase. This day provides your first taste of village life and green hill landscapes.

Day 02: Trek from Tikhedhunga/Ulleri to Ghorepani
Today's trail offers incredible views and lush nature as you ascend toward Ghorepani. If starting from Tikhedhunga, you'll tackle a steep climb to Ulleri. The trail then gently ascends through dense rhododendron and oak forests. Along the way, catch glimpses of Annapurna South and Machhapuchhre (Fishtail). As you reach Ghorepani, nestled in the middle hills, you'll be welcomed by panoramic mountain vistas and cool Himalayan air.

Day 03: Early Morning Hike to Poon Hill - Trek to Ghandruk
Before dawn, you'll hike to the famous Poon Hill viewpoint (3,210m) to witness one of Nepal's best sunrise experiences. As the sun rises over the snow-capped peaks, you'll see a stunning 360° view of Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Nilgiri, and more. After returning to Ghorepani for breakfast, you'll begin a long but rewarding trek toward Ghandruk. You'll pass through Tadapani and descend through mossy forests and small settlements before arriving at the beautiful Gurung village of Ghandruk, known for its cultural richness and close views of Annapurna South.

Day 04: Trek from Ghandruk to Nayapul - Drive back to Pokhara
After breakfast, enjoy a gentle descent through stone paths and terraced fields, passing through villages like Kimche and Syauli Bazaar. The trail becomes easier as you approach Nayapul. Once you arrive, a private vehicle will be waiting to take you back to Pokhara. You'll reach the city by afternoon, with time to relax by the lakeside or reflect on your Himalayan journey.
