It is one of the more accessible hiking courses, covering about 1.3 kilometres round trip and taking about an hour to complete.
This trail offers a refreshing view of Jeju City and allows visitors to glimpse the summit of Hallasan.
It is a popular route for tourists who want to experience Hallasan Mountain and enjoy the panoramic view of Jeju City.

Day 02

Discover Tea Culture at O'Sulloc Tea Museum

The O'Sulloc Tea Museum, located on Jeju Island, is a popular destination for tea lovers and visitors interested in learning about Korea's traditional tea culture.
The museum showcases various aspects of tea production, from cultivation to brewing methods, and offers guided tours, tea-tasting sessions, and a gift shop where visitors can purchase a wide range of tea-related products.

Admire the Basalt Columns of Jusangjeolli Cliff

Jeju's cliff is called Jusangjeolli.

Oedolgae, also known as Seagull Rock, is a famous rock pillar in Jeju that rises 20 meters above the sea and serves as the starting point of Jeju Olle Trail Route 7.
It is believed to have formed from volcanic eruptions and stands as a solitary pillar amid the erosion of surrounding rocks, showcasing Jeju's unique terrain.
Adorned with pine trees at its peak, it offers picturesque views from different angles and features well-maintained walking trails for visitors to leisurely enjoy the beauty of nature.
Oedolgae is a must-visit attraction for travellers exploring Jeju, offering the chance to experience the island's stunning landscapes and natural wonders.

Day 05

Visit the Celestial Pond of Cheonjiyeon Waterfall

Cheonjiyeon, which means a pond where heaven and earth meet, features a waterfall with a height of 22 meters and a pond below that reaches a depth of 20 meters, earning it the nickname of a celestial pond.
To the southwest of Cheonjiyeon Falls lies a dense forest of evergreen trees such as camphor and camellia, forming a lush temperate forest that remains cool even in midsummer.
Designated as Natural Monument No. 163, the evergreen Japanese cedar trees in this forest mark the natural boundary line, while the entire forest itself is designated as Natural Monument No. 379, ensuring strict protection against logging, plant collection, and wildlife hunting.
The deep pool below the waterfall, with a depth of 20 meters, is famous as a habitat for blind cave eels, a species of catadromous fish that spawn in the sea and return to freshwater rivers or lakes.
These eels hide in deep waters during the day and come out to shallow areas at night to feed, with some reaching lengths of up to 2 meters and weighing around 20 kilograms.
As Cheonjiyeon Falls marks the northern distribution limit of blind cave eels, it has been designated as Natural Monument No. 27.
With its rich ecological significance and natural beauty, Cheonjiyeon Falls can truly be called a treasure trove of natural monuments.
