Embark on a six-day trekking adventure to conquer Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest peak. First, starting from Machame Gate at 1,800 meters, each day brings new challenges and breathtaking views as you ascend through diverse landscapes. Then, from the lush rainforest to the barren alpine desert, the journey continues with a gradual increase in altitude. Next, the trek culminates in the exhilarating summit push to Uhuru Peak at 5,895 meters. Led by experienced guides and supported by a dedicated crew, this expedition promises an unforgettable experience of endurance, camaraderie, and triumph over nature's grandeur.

Day 1: Trekking from Machame Gate to Machame Camp
- Our guide and a mountain support crew will arrive at the hotel in the morning to meet you and hold a quick briefing.
- After the briefing, you will travel by vehicle to Kilimanjaro National Park’s entrance: Machame Gate (1,800 m).
- Upon arrival, the group will complete the quick formality of acquiring climbing permits and registering with the search and rescue service.
- The trekking journey will commence, heading up to Machame Camp (3,010 m).
- The trekking route includes passage through the rainforest, where tropical showers are highly probable.
- We recommend bringing spare clothes and raincoats for the trek.

Day 2: Trekking from Machame Camp to Shira Camp
- The next morning, after breakfast, the trek will commence towards the second high-altitude camp, Shira Camp (3,845 m).
- During this day's trek, you will emerge from the rainforest and witness stunning views of the Shira Plateau for the first time.

Day 3: Trekking from Shira Camp to Lava Tower and Descent to Barranco Camp
- After breakfast at Shira Camp (3,845 m), you will depart and head towards the key point of the route: Lava Tower (4,630 m). This section of the route involves numerous ascents and descents, culminating in a camp at over 4,600 meters.
- Spending at least 1–2 hours at Lava Tower is advised for successful acclimatization, and lunch will be served here.
- Following this, you will descend to Barranco Camp (3,960 m), where you can admire the famous Barranco Wall known for its impressive size and steepness.
- The following day, you will climb the Barranco Wall, which features a straightforward hiking trail.
Distance: Shira camp to Lava Tower to Barranco camp: 11 km
Change in elevation: Shira camp (3,845m) – Lava Tower (4,630m) – Barranco camp (3,960m)
Hiking Time: 6-8 hours. -
Day 4: Trekking from Barranco Camp to Barafu Camp
- An early wake-up call will be followed by breakfast and the commencement of summiting the Barranco Wall. Leaving the camp as early as possible is recommended to avoid crowds from other groups.
- After the climb, you can rest and take photos in front of the Kibo volcano.
- Following this, you will begin the hike to Karanga Camp, which involves numerous ascents and descents along the route. Upon reaching the camp, a warm lunch will be provided.
- It is advisable to spend the remainder of the day resting and sleeping in preparation for the night summiting.
Breakfast, lunch, and dinner will be provided.
Distance: Barranco camp to Barafu camp – 11 km
Change in elevation: Barranco camp (3,960m) – Barafu camp (4,640m)
Hiking Time: 8-10 hours. -
Day 5: Ascent to Uhuru Peak and Descent to Millennium Camp
- At midnight, your guide will awaken you with a warm cup of tea and biscuits to prepare for the final ascent.
- Using only the moonlight and headlamps for illumination, you will make your way up to Stella Point, reaching the crater rim in approximately 5–7 hours.
- Another 1–2 hours will lead you to Uhuru Peak, where you can witness the sunrise over the African landscape, casting a pink hue over the snowy peak and causing the glaciers to sparkle like diamonds.
- While the climb is technically straightforward, the high altitude presents the most significant challenge. Each pair of climbers will be accompanied by a personal guide throughout the ascent to monitor physical and mental conditions.
- After capturing the incredible view and achievement, you will begin your descent along the same route back to Barafu Camp.
- Following a 2-hour rest at Barafu Camp, you will descend to Millennium Camp

Day 6: Descent from Millennium Camp to Mweka Gate
- Millennium Camp, situated in a tropical rainforest, offers relief from the high altitude upon waking up, accompanied by the satisfaction of summiting.
- After a warm breakfast, you will depart for the park’s exit: Mweka Gate (1,640 m).
- Upon completing your descent, the entire group will gather to congratulate you, followed by an opportunity for you to share your climb experience in the guestbook.
- Finally, in our office, you will be presented with your memorial certificates and provided with transfer back to the hotel.

Change in elevation: Millennium Camp (3,820m) to Mweka Gate (1,640m)
