5-Day Dhaka, Barisal and Sundarbans Tour with Bagerhat UNESCO Sites

Enjoy a full-day exploration of people's culture, local expressions, heritage buildings, monuments and museums in Dhaka. Key attractions covered include Kawran Bazar vegetable market, Shahbagh flower wholesale market, Sadarghat riverfront, Ahsan Monzil (the Pink Palace), Lalbagh Fort, Star Mosque, Armenian Church, Dhakeshwari Temple, the National Parliament Building and Curzon Hall.

• Early in the morning, wake to the horn of the launch or ship at Barisal, where you can observe the act of embarkation and disembarkation while, on the other side, the sun rises over the river.
• Drive by car towards Banaripara. On the way to the floating markets, enjoy the rivers and scenes of typical village life. You will leave the boat by 12:00 hours.
• Then continue by car to visit the World Heritage-listed city of mosques at Bagerhat, once ruled by Khan Jahan Ali, who built dozens of mosques and water reservoirs. Visit the Sixty Dome Mosque and the Shrine of Khan Jahan Ali, then drive to Mongla.
• Board our tourist boat for a cruise towards the Sundarbans tiger points.

In the evening, enjoy a Kachikhali canal cruise inside the Sundarbans towards the core areas for wildlife and birdwatching around the tiger points. The day's activities include nature treks in tiger tracts, where several hundred deer can be spotted, a canal cruise for birdwatching, and a chance to observe wildlife from the observation tower.

• The day starts early in the morning with a Katka canal cruise to observe wildlife and rare bird species from very close range.
• After breakfast, follow breathtaking green beach trails between the blue ocean and the green untouched forest around Tiger Hill.
• After lunch, in the late afternoon, walk around the grazing field in search of the existing herds of deer.
• Later in the afternoon, cruise back towards Joy Moni.

Enjoy a BBQ dinner.

• In the morning, visit a coastal fisherman village.
• Visit the Karamjal crocodile breeding center and walk along a wooden foot trail. There are many monkeys and deer in the open zoo.
• Afterwards, stop the vessel to watch dolphins before ending the cruise at Mongla. At 3:30 PM, leave the vessel and begin your AC car journey towards Dhaka, which takes about 4.5 hours.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel or residence.
