Itinerary

1. Day 1: Transfer to Murchison Fall

   • Start your journey from Kampala, the capital city of Uganda.
   • Drive north to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
   • The sanctuary is located en route to Murchison Falls National Park.
   • Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary is home to a population of white rhinos.
   • Upon arrival at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary, embark on a guided walking safari.
   • Track and observe these magnificent creatures in their natural habitat.
   • Continue your drive to Murchison Falls National Park.
   • Check into your accommodation, which can be a lodge or a campsite within the park.
   • In the evening, enjoy a game drive in the northern part of the park.
   • Spot elephants, giraffes, buffalos, lions, and various antelope species during the game drive

2. Day 2: Early Game Drive and Boat Cruise

   • Begin your day with an early morning game drive in the park’s vast savannah plains.
   • This is the best time to encounter predators such as lions and leopards.
   • Other wildlife are more active during the cool hours of the morning.
   • In the afternoon, embark on a boat safari along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls.
   • This boat trip offers excellent opportunities to view hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of bird species.
   • Bird species include the rare shoebill stork.
   • As you approach the falls, witness the powerful surge of water.
   • The Nile River is forced through a narrow gorge, creating a magnificent spectacle.
   • After the boat safari, hike to the top of the falls.
   • Enjoy breathtaking views and take memorable photos.

   Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.

3. Day 3: Transfer back to Kampala

   • On your final day, take part in a morning game drive in a different section of the park.
   • Options include the Budongo Forest or the Rabongo Forest.

   • Begin your journey back to Kampala.
   • Make a stop at the top of the falls for a last look at the magnificent scenery.
   • Arrive in Kampala in the late afternoon, marking the end of your 3-day trip to Murchison Falls National Park and Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
