Kotor Cable Car, Njeguši Village and Lovćen Mausoleum

  • The tour starts with a meeting at the port of Kotor or at the address you specify.
  • We head to Dub, where we begin the cable car ride. During the ride, you will have the chance to enjoy amazing views of Kotor, Tivat, and the whole bay. You will ascend from 65 m to 1350 m above sea level in only 11 minutes.
  • In the village of Njeguši, we will discover authentic Montenegrin culture and cuisine. You can try and buy local products such as prosciutto, cheese, and wine.
  • After Njeguši, we will visit Lovćen National Park and the Mausoleum of Petar II Petrović-Njegoš. We will climb 441 steps to reach the most impressive part of the mausoleum, the chapel, which has six sides. This artistic masterpiece is made from a single piece of granite, which originally weighed 50 tons. When the statue was completed in 1974, it was 4 meters tall and weighed 29 tons. The ceiling is covered with 200,000 gold pieces that together create one huge gold mosaic weighing 18 kg.
  • After exploring the historical and traditional part of our country, we continue on the way back to Kotor through the world of untouched nature, along the old road from the time of the Kingdom of Montenegro.
