Day 01
Giza Pyramids, Saqqara Step Pyramid, and Dahshur
- Early in the morning, I will pick you up and accompany you in a private air-conditioned vehicle to begin your tour.
- Your tour will begin with a visit to one of the most attractive Pharaonic sightseeing areas in Egypt, the Giza Pyramids, where you will find the 9 pyramids of Giza and many ancient tombs dating back to the 4th Dynasty of the Old Kingdom, around 2500 BC.
- The most famous attractions are the Great Pyramid of Khufu, considered one of the ancient Seven Wonders, the Pyramid of Kefren, and the Pyramid of Mecyrinos, as well as the Valley Temple of King Kafrea.
- Additionally, there is the Great Sphinx, which has the body of a lion and the head of a human. According to ancient Egyptian beliefs, it guards the great pyramids of Giza.
- Then, I will take you to my favourite sightseeing spot, the Saqqara Step Pyramid, located 25 km south of the Giza Pyramids.
- At Saqqara, I will start the tour by visiting the complex of King Zoser, which houses the Step Pyramid, the first pyramid in Egypt. Then, I will show you more pyramids, such as the Pyramid of King Unas.
- Then, move on to Dahshur to visit the Black Pyramid, the Bent Pyramid, and the Red Pyramid of King Senefru from the 4th Dynasty, dating back to 4500 BC. Finally, we will head back to your hotel.
