Day 01
Hajla Peak Hike through Rugova Valley
- On this panoramic tour, we'll start with a one-hour transfer from Peja, passing through Rugova Canyon up to Pepaj mountain village, right at the centre of the beautiful Rugova Valley.
- You can meet your guide/driver at our office in Peja, or optionally be picked up from your accommodation in Peja. Start hiking on the eastern side of Hajla Mountain up to the summit at 2403 m altitude, which is centrally located along the Via Dinarica trail, from where we will have magnificent panoramic views towards the rest of the Accursed Mountains peaks.
- Start walking down over the magnificent Hajla ridge and back to Pepaj village via a circular route through Pepaj Valley, followed by transport back to Peja.
Duration: 5-6 hrs. Level: moderate hike. +850 m / -850 m. 12 km.
