Day 01

Catacombs, Pompey's Pillar, Qaytbay Citadel and Alexandria Library

• After breakfast at the hotel, your tour of Alexandria will begin. You will visit the Catacombs Tombs, a cemetery dating back to the Greco-Roman period. Then, we will visit Pompey's Pillar, one of the highlights of Alexandria.
• After that, enjoy your lunch at a fish restaurant in Alexandria.
• The tour will continue with a visit to Qaytbay Citadel, built on the site of the old Lighthouse of Alexandria. Then, you will visit the Alexandria Library before returning to Cairo.
• After arriving in Cairo and before we drop you off at your hotel, you will have dinner, which will be Koshary, one of the most famous Egyptian meals. Koshary mixes rice, pasta, lentils, chickpeas, onion, and tomato sauce.
