The itinerary

Day 01

Fortress Walls of Icherisheher

The Fortress Walls of Gosha Gala, dating from the 12th century, surround the medieval Old City of Baku - Icherisheher.
The Old City of Baku was designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2000.

Day 02

Monument to Aliaga Vahid

This monument, erected in 1990 in honor of Aliaga Vahid, commemorates the Azerbaijani poet and Honored Artist of the Azerbaijan SSR (1943). It is one of the intriguing monuments within the Icherisheher complex.

Day 03

The Majestic Maiden Tower

The most majestic and mysterious monument in Baku is the Maiden Tower (Gyz Galasy), rising in the southeastern part of the Icherisheher fortress.
In 1964, it became a museum and has been listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2000.

Historic Caravanserais

The caravanserais include Multani, dating from the 14th century and named after a region in India, as well as Bukhara, from the 15th century, which accommodated traders from Central Asia, along with the Small and Big Caravanserais.

Palace of the Shirvanshahs

The Palace of the Shirvanshahs was the former residence of the Shirvanshahs, the rulers of Shirvan, and is located in Baku, Azerbaijan.
The construction of the palace was associated with the relocation of the capital from Shemakha to Baku between the 13th and 16th centuries.

Aliaga Vahid Garden

Aliaga Vahid Garden (Governor's Garden, 1830), formerly known as Mikhailovsky or Governor's Garden, is one of the oldest parks in the capital of Azerbaijan, Baku.
The Governor's Garden, also known as Mikhailovsky or the Garden of the Revolution, is in fact the oldest garden in the city and remained the only garden in Baku for a very long time.
One of the oldest and most bustling gardens in the city - Mikhailovsky, or, as locals often called it, Governor's Garden (4.6 hectares) - underwent a lengthy stage of formation until the final planning structure harmoniously blended with the terrain.
