Jungle Trek to Chhomrong

  • On the first day, we will admire the magnificent wild jungle.
  • Our destination will be the ethnically rich mountain village of Chhomrong, whose inhabitants belong to the Gurung people.
2
Day 02

Downhill Trails to Dovan

  • We will start the second day with breakfast and views of the green hills contrasting with the sharp, white peaks rising several thousand meters high.
  • On the route, we will forget about the steep stairs from the previous day for a moment and, for a change, instead of climbing, we will go down.
  • There will also be a small adrenaline rush while crossing the narrow suspension bridge.
  • The route on this day delights in every detail: small waterfalls, stone shrines, and strings of colorful flags.
  • Additionally, there will be a view of the real Himalayan giant - Machhapuchhare (6997 m).
3
Day 03

Annapurna Sanctuary Ascent

  • On this day, we reach the destination of our hike: the Annapurna Sanctuary.
  • However, we still have a long and hard road ahead of us.
  • But after a few hours, we will see her, the Queen of the Himalayas - Annapurna (8091 m)!
  • This moment touches the hearts of even the toughest guys.
  • We will immerse ourselves for a moment in the Himalayan silence and fill our lungs with clean mountain air.
  • Dazzled by the Nepalese peace, we will admire the surrounding amphitheatre of several-thousand-meter peaks.
4
Day 04

Machhapuchhare Base Camp and Modi Khola Retreat

  • Tired but happy, we will visit the base camp at Machhapuchhare (6997 m), which the Nepalese consider a sacred mountain.
  • The next day, we will move on to the rocky valley of Modi Khola. At its bottom, nature has formed small thermal pools.
  • A bath in the hot springs is the best reward for such a demanding trek!
  • This is the end of our journey.

Know before you go

  • This is a moderate trekking route, so it does not require much special preparation.
  • The destination of our trekking in the Himalayas will be Annapurna Base Camp (4130 m), also called Annapurna Sanctuary. It is located near the tenth-highest peak on Earth and the Queen of the Himalayas - Annapurna (8091 m above sea level). The trail leading to ABC passes through extremely picturesque places, and from its shelter, there is one of the most beautiful views in Nepal.
  • You do not have to be a professional Himalayan climber to go trekking with us to Annapurna Base Camp.
  • The route to the Sanctuary is not the most difficult, but it is full of hills, narrow paths, and steep ascents.
  • Almost the entire trail consists of steps carved into the rock, which you may have to climb by the hundreds, if not thousands, in a single day. Therefore, it is extremely demanding and tiring.
  • Porter services are available if needed.
