3-Day Bucegi Mountains Hike from Bucharest with Peleș and Bran Castles

• Individual arrival in Bucharest and transfer to the Sinaia resort (130 km by car).

• We will visit the capital, plan our trip, and then transfer to Sinaia - the most appreciated winter resort and the starting point for our hiking adventure.

• In Sinaia, we will visit the "King's Castle" - Peleș.

• Optional transfer from Bucharest.

Overnight in Sinaia.

Meals: dinner.

• We call this thematic trail "From the King's Castle to the Queen's Heart", as Peleș Castle was the Royal Residence, while Bran Castle hosted the heart of the Romanian Queen for a while.

• We start our hiking adventure early in the morning in Sinaia (600 m altitude).

• We can hike from the city centre, or we can take the cable car directly to 2,000 m altitude, almost to the top of the mountain.

• From here, we hike to Babele Chalet; then we reach Omu Peak (2,504 m altitude - the highest point) for lunch and to admire the landscape around us.

• After lunch, we will begin a long descent to Bran village.

• We will organise dinner at a restaurant or in our hotel, depending on our arrival time.

Overnight in Bran.

Meals: breakfast, picnic lunch.

• After breakfast, we will visit the village of Bran and its main attraction - Bran Castle. Also known as "Dracula Castle", this former military fortress is a historical place dedicated to Queen Maria.

• After visiting Bran Castle, we will return to Bucharest.

• This marks the end of a great adventure in the mountains.
