Day 01

Nairobi to Amboseli with Afternoon Game Drive

0730hrs: Pick up from your Nairobi hotel, residence, or Nairobi airport.
Depart for Amboseli National Park via the Nairobi-Mombasa road.
The morning drive passes through typical African savanna country dotted with local homesteads and colourful Maasai herders grazing cattle.
Arrive at Amboseli National Park in time for lunch.
Take a rest at midday, then venture into the park for an afternoon game-viewing drive.
Search for elephants, giraffes, zebras, lions, cheetahs, warthogs, ostriches, and many others.
Mount Kilimanjaro dominates the skyline and surrounding countryside. It is the tallest mountain in Africa and the highest free-standing mountain in the world.
Its snow-capped peak dominates the background as you marvel at the wildlife and scenery.
